Maggie has relocated across the country, seeking to put heartbreak and depression behind her and start anew, but the post office has mixed up her mail. Among the bills and advertisements are three letters—unaddressed and written 150 years in the past by a young lighthouse keeper to his “dearest one.” Thus begins the search to learn their identities. What begins as a worthy, if not idealistic mission, soon propels her on a new journey, this one wrapped around two families driven by revenge and greed.
